Aerial yoga is beneficial for beginners, as the hammock helps with lengthening and creating internal space.
Anyone can do this form of practice, however, classes at this time are offered to ages 18 years and older. You do not need to be a gymnast, or dancer to perform any of the postures, just a willingness to give it a try.
Yes. The hammock (which can hold up to 2000 pounds) is connected at each end to the reinforced ceiling by 2 hooks. When the body is in the hammock, it is elevated from the floor by approximately two – three feet, depending on the individual’s height.
Maximum participants per class is limited to four.

Stretchable clothing. Leggings that cover to the calf and a short-sleeved top is best.
Zippered clothing and sharp jewelry. This will keep the hammock free from snags & tears.
It is best not to eat (or drink) within 2 hours of an aerial yoga practise (especially acidic liquids). If food is required, it is best to avoid protein and consume toast or a banana.
